Inchgarth is proud to be sponsored by a number of local and national businesses and organisations. Read how you can support our cause, and how others have helped.
Inchgarth Community Centre is Aberdeen’s busiest and most successful community centre, located in Garthdee, and in 2017 the centre received the Queen's award for voluntary service, a collective MBE for Team Inchgarth. With a small staffing team, the reliance on a huge pool of volunteers, and being self financing, we depend on the generous donations and sponsorship of companies and individuals to continue the high level and quality of opportunities and facilities. The centre takes tremendous pride in the services we provide for societies most vulnerable which includes the children, elderly, those with disabilities and the poorest. The sponsorship and donations you make really does make a massive, long lasting, and vital difference to people's lives.
The centre is working tirelessly to improve the facilities for everyone at the centre, and our new project is to raise funds to buy the children, people disabilities, and adult groups who use the games room 3 wonderful items that will give years upon years of joy, and for hundreds of people. We need your help to buy a pinball machine, table football, and air hockey.

WHAT MAKES US SO SPECIAL?
1) The centre provides 150 sessions of activity for all ages, with some 2000 users and members from all over the city, not just our own community. Many of our opportunities are low-cost, subsidised, or free due to people's personal circumstances. With your support, and the support of those who already sponsor Inchgarth, we have created a service and centre of excellence - second to none.
2) Not only is Inchgarth's programme unique, our work beneficial for those most vulnerable, but our vast range of facilities are simply not available in any other centre in the city. Much of this is possible due to the wonderful sponsorship, funding bodies, or donations from individuals, and that's why people travel from all over the city to Inchgarth - to access quality and vital opportunities that make a real difference in people's lives.
3) Inchgarth is a centre for the people, by the people, with real community ownership and empowerment of our services. We don't seek a handout from our sponsors, merely a hand up to allow us to help others. With a sense of work ethic and partnership, your sponsorship makes life changing differences to the lives of many.
4) In 2017 Inchgarth was recognised by Her Majesty the Queen, via the Queen’s award for voluntary service. This is the highest award any organisation can achieve in the UK and is a collective MBE for team Inchgarth, which recognised our centre as a centre of excellence, driven by volunteers.
