A centre built on the foundations of volunteering!
Volunteer with us and make a huge difference!
Volunteering is a two-way beneficial act. By giving up your most precious asset, your time, you are making a direct difference in our community and to the lives of others. Equally, you are gaining many new experiences, skills and friends along the way that can give you the feel good factor, help with your CV for jobs and gain references from us, and give you the experience often necessary to further your career. Find out more about volunteering at Inchgarth by reading our Volunteering Booklet below!
We have flexible roles for people working and evening volunteering opportunities
available.

Young Volunteers
Inchgarth offers volunteering opportunities for young people of secondary age upwards. This can be via the school placement office, students at college or university, those involved with schemes such as the Prince's trust and the Duke of Edinburgh, or you may simply wish to give something back.
There are loads of opportunities and even better- YOU GAIN recognition and a certificate signed by the Scottish first minister as part of the SALTIRE AWARDS. https://saltireawards.org.uk
CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING
While we rely on the very kind support of businesses and individual donors, who make cash donations or organise fundraisers for us, we are equally as delighted to accept practical support from the business community via team building days and challenges. Over the years there have been numerous businesses that came to Inchgarth to do various tasks, all of which makes a real difference to our centre and the people we support.
