HELP US TO CREATE A NEW LIBRARY

​Inchgarth community centre is raising money to create a community library within Inchgarth for late summer 2026.
You may know that our community lost its library a couple years ago, and we'd love to do something about that.
We're going to create a library within our existing cafe space, once the new extension opens and hope you will consider supporting us to create what will be a much loved, extremely well used, and valuable asset for the community.
We will open the library 7 days a week, with week days open to 9pm- a unique service

It will create a children's corner for reading.
Comfy seating to enjoy reading a book, magazine, or relax with your coffee as a spiller over from our cafe.
We will re-floor the entire cafe and paint the area, including ripping out the existing cafe facility.
We will install rotating book holders, DVD, LP, cassette stands.

We will ask for donations of stock nearer the summer 2026 opening, including donations towards buying new/used books.
The library will work on honesty where people can take books to keep, borrow them or donate their own and with the centre open 7 days a week, it will be an extremely well used facility with colossal potential.

Our main challenge, is raising the money to create the space and we'd love your support to join us on the journey.

Inchgarth would love you to donate your one and two pence pieces in order to generate much needed funds for our vital services, particularly our work with the most vulnerable in the community.
